Melody Burke

Melody’s career as a Dancer includes various styles of dance, performer and Maypole Teacher and has worked professionally for over 20 years In this time she has worked as a partner in a Theatre Company, Choreographer, Stage Manager, Casting Director, Fashion Model, Make-up artist, Actress, MC, Character work.

Melody has taught the Maypole in Schools across the country including Teachers and Cubs/Guides. Worked in collaboration with Mountview Theatre school, Brit School, Bird College, Arts Educational school, Tiffany Theatre College on different projects and has also completed a 30 hour record breaking Maypole dance.

Her Career has taken her performances to many venues/places Including Windsor Castle, Hampton Court, Hever Castle, Harrods, Landsdown club(Mayfair), Roundhouse(Camden), Shakespeare Globe, Hyde Park, Regents Park, Guild Hall (London), Javea (Spain), Paris (France) to name but a few.

She has worked with many VIPS and prestigious Clients. Bruno Peek, Disney, Warner Brothers, Councils, Mayors and many More.Melody has participated in 100’s of Parades (Including 17 London New Year's Day Parades to date), Launches, openings, guard of honours, turning on of Christmas lights and Christmas stage shows and just loves to dance, sing, act and perform whenever she can.

Melody is currently teaching Belly dance for beginners and also a certified Zumba instructor.
